NCEA Level 3 Tourism

The focus will be on specific destinations, and the role of tourism in New Zealand.
Students intending to go on to the tourism tertiary colleges will be able to cross-credit some of the unit standards, thus reducing tertiary course fees.

Recommended Prior Learning
Year 12 tourism, or discussion with the teacher in charge of Tourism.
At least 9 literacy credits in achievement standards or unit standards in Year 12 English or Geography.
