NCEA Level 3 Tourism
Course Description
The focus will be on specific destinations, and the role of tourism in New Zealand.
Students intending to go on to the tourism tertiary colleges will be able to cross-credit some of the unit standards, thus reducing tertiary course fees.
A student will be withdrawn from a standard if the teacher is not confident that the achievement of the standard is within the reach of the student or there is no evidence of the student attempting the assessment.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 12 tourism, or discussion with the teacher in charge of Tourism.

Highlighters, glue stick, ruler
Course supported by STAR funding.
Some field work may be undertaken which could involve some cost to students.
It is preferable that students bring their own device.
