This course aims to introduce students to basic Te Reo and Tikanga Māori.
Some of the topics covered are:

  • Mihimihi/Pepeha (basic introductions and greetings).
  • Whānau (family).
  • Tīnana/Kākahu (Body & Clothes).
  • Tikanga me ngā kawa o te marae (marae customs and marae protocol).
  • Haka & waiata.
