This is a one semester course aims to introduce students to basic Te Reo and Tikanga Māori.
Some of the topics covered are:
- Mihimihi/Pepeha (basic introductions and greetings).
- Whānau (family).
- Kāinga (home)
- Tikanga me ngā kawa o te marae (marae customs and marae protocol).
- Haka & waiata.
