Social Studies Level 1 is an exciting new subject for 2024,

Social Studies explores cultures, identities, and diversity. You will see how societies shape people's lives and how the world is interconnected.  Social Studies empowers you to think critically, make informed decisions, and actively shape your society. It teaches you to ask important questions, gather information, and understand different values and perspectives. It also encourages empathy and respect for others.  You'll learn to take action and make a difference in your community.  We may look at topics such as protest in the Amazon Rainforest, globalisation through social media or fighting oppression through watching contextual film.
