This course is designed for students who wish to continue mathematics at Level 2 but no further. The topics in this course are of a more practical and applicable nature and less literacy based.
A student will be withdrawn from a standard if the teacher is not confident that the achievement of the standard is within the reach of the student or there is no evidence of the student attempting the assessment.

Recommendation from Year 11 mathematics teacher and/or Head of Faculty and at least 12 Level 1 credits from achievement standards. 11MA3/4 students may not be academically prepared for the material covered in this course and will need to be recommended by the TIC of this course.
