This course is designed for students who want some science, but who do not want to complete any exams or enter any year 12 physics, biology, or chemistry classes. They can still enter 12 general science provided they achieve enough credits in year 11.
The assessments are all done in class and they are based on a variety of different topics and assessed using a variety of assessment techniques.
This course will explore a range of science topics as decided by the class and teachers to suit the learning of students. Assessments will be chosen to suit the topics covered.
A student will be withdrawn from a standard if the teacher is not confident that the achievement of the standard is within the reach of the student or there is no evidence of the student attempting the assessment.
